True Success at anything comes with Humanity and Taking people along

“IF YOU HELP MORE PEOPLE GET WHAT THEY WANT, YOU WILL GET
WHAT YOU WANT”
                                                    -Zig Ziglar

After my previous post on “If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It”; which was very well accepted and largely viewed by the people I’d first of all like to thank them and hope you implement my writings in your daily life. It’s not about creating a huge following it’s about creating a change in your life that can make millions of lives better and happy altogether.

The biggest mistake an aspiring game changer can do is to become self centred, be isolated from people and avoiding interactions with them considering the fact that they are mediocre and way too low on knowledge to be with. Remember ladies and gentlemen “Proud is Good but Pride will spoil you”. In order to be successful in life you need to create an aura around you so that people will like you, admire you; adore you for how noble you are! Being humble is the biggest asset one can have, you need to take care of people around you and help them get what’s important for them. Be a good human, only then can true success come to you!

Recent example, Virgin Corp’s founder Richard Branson popularly known as Dr. Yes made a revolutionary decision by providing his company’s 140 new parents one full year of paid parental leave. What a noble stand has this amazing philanthropist & leader taken. It’s not only humane but imagine; the joy and contentment of the employees who’ll be blessed to know how much their bosses care for them. Tell me guys; wouldn’t this step encourage employees to work in a better way for the firm? Obviously yes because the more they feel at home and the better the work environment, the better sales they’d be able to produce.  Also, such an act is a punch in the face for other competitors in the market for it’s not possible for all to take such bold decisions.
Getting close to people, helping them, motivating them and taking care of them would shower blessings on you which will eventually help in later success. Noble causes never go useless because there is a higher power at work that’s viewing your everyday humbleness, gratitude towards people and how amazing a person you are. If you want to feel motivated, motivate someone else and believe me you need to do this in order to find solutions that are hidden deep inside you to problems that make you restless. Go ahead and help that old lady cross the road, lend your jacket to the homeless kid who needs it more than you, thank your sweeper for how wonderfully she cleans all the mess around, thank your security guard who keep you safe at all times, thank your Mom who loves you more than anything else in this world and thank your Dad who makes everyday sacrifices in order to keep that enchanting smile on your face alive and beaming.

The bottom line.....  Well, it’s better done than just blabbering about it; “Go out today and help someone who really needs it in any way possible however small it appears to be, believe me it’d mean a lot to them”

KEEP READING KEEP MOTIVATING AND YES, KEEP THAT SMILE FOREVER; IT SUITS YOU J

6 Important Things to know before you kick-start a start-up and make it a SUCCESS

There are various amount of think tanks that are emerging in Indian market thriving on the various opportunities eventually leading to become entrepreneurs.  Yet many startups fail despite following all the ways. Right from understanding your customer to thorough research about the market, there are few ways to become a successful entrepreneurs:-

· Unleash the Power of Technology:
Today the technology holds the bar against the rise & fall of any start-up. With time one has to keep updated with the latest technology updates to deliver the desired user experience. The future lies further into this with the use of social sharability to induce virality.
· Understand your Customer:
The new firms like that of ecommerce are all equipped with data on customer buying behaviour including what & when they are browsing. That is overlaid with social media inputs such as each user’s interest & affinities for microsegmenting of products. This helps in delivering products that are targeted along with digital mediums for reach.
· Study the Market:
Doing a thorough market research is valuable. For the organization’s success or business to thrive market sentiments & acute business vision are important. Since the size of Indian market is huge so studying makes it more convincing for the business to begin or initiate.
· Crunch Data:
Strategic analysis of data is key to propel a startup to success. Crunching of data is the new stuff for the future decisions making. Analysis of data eventually allows us to determine and inventory, our marketing approaches & to manage financial targets.
· Be Passionate and remain Passionate:
No matter whatever troubles or difficult times happen Passion is a must. As an entrepreneur, your conviction in business must be unwavering. This would reflect how you lead your team in highs & lows of an enterprise. Passion must be deeply rooted in the knowledge of the domain. Lifelong learning should be part of an entrepreneur. Therefore, one must be prepared for all of this.
· Be Prudent in Acquisitions:
Although this a step later, yet it is significant to build up on your harwork and success. One should keep attention to every detail while expanding the company or during acquisitions. Be careful while evaluating acquisitions like revenues, culture, management, costs & integration.

Just Because You Fail in School, College or in Life, Doesn’t Mean You’re a Failure

There’s a difference between failing and being a failure. I’ve met people who see each failure as a sign that they are a failure.  But everyone fails.  Even successful people.  Even your heroes.  Even the people who seem like everything they touch turns to gold.  Even superheroes.  Often we hear about people who’ve succeeded long after they’ve trudged through all those failures along the way, so it can seem like their success came easily.  Perhaps the most important difference between failing and being a failure is that “failing” is just a setback/disappointment whereas “being a failure” is a mindset.

Credits : Anna Vital
Being a failure is pretty simple. Give up.  That’s it.  It takes a lot more courage, guts, and heart to fail and then keep going.  As long as you’re working toward something that matters to you, then you’re not a failure.

Following are the examples of some of the greatest who failed at school , college or in life but didnt give up and kept on going inspite of people's criticism and today they are highly successful

1.  Steve Jobs:
Billionaire co-founder of Apple Inc and Pixar; dropped out of Reed College to start Apple.
DID YOU KNOW : Steve Jobs  was actually fired from Apple Computers,  the very company that he is responsible for making it the success it is today.  When Jobs was fired from Apple, he was quoted stating “I didn’t see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.”

2. Bill Gates:
He is the billionaire co-founder of Microsoft Corporation, the world largest software company. Dropped out of Harvard to focus on building Microsoft. According to Forbes magazine, Bill Gates has held the position of the world richest man for thirteen consecutive years and he not showing a sign of letting go that position. Also, While still at high school, Gates and pal Paul Allen (his Microsoft cofounder) launched Traf-O-Data, a traffic counter, which they marketed to local governments.
Unfortunately, the business went bust when the state of Washington started offering counters to cities for free. Plus, Gates was arrested in New Mexico for traffic violations. Just sayin’.

3. Richard Branson:
Best known for his adventurous spirit and outrageous business tactics. He dropped out of school at the age of 16 to start his first successful business venture; Student Magazine, bought his own 79-acre Caribbean island when he was just 24 and he was knighted in 1999. He is the billionaire founder of the Virgin brand and its 360 companies. His companies include the famous Virgin Atlantic Airways.

4. Lawrence J. Ellison:
Larry Ellison dropped out of college twice and was told by his adoptive father that he would never amount to anything but he went on to become a billionaire by building Oracle, the world’s second largest software company.

5.  Debbi Fields:
A 20 year old housewife with no education and business experience started Mrs. Fields Chocolate Chippery and became the most successful cookie company owner. She later renamed, franchised, and then sold Mrs. Field’s Cookies.

6. Coco Chanel:
Fashion magnate and founder of the Coco Chanel brand, she never saw the four walls of school.

7. Oprah Winfrey:
Hailed as the “ Queen of Daytime Talk TV” Winfrey was fired from her news reporter gig at a Baltimore news station.  Oprah went on to build a successful following from her daytime talk show “The Oprah Winfrey Show”.  Oprah’s net worth is currently valued at 2.7 billion dollars.

8. Colonel Sanders (KFC)
Colonel Sanders is the entrepreneur who founded KFC “Kentucky Fried Chicken” when he was 56 years old.  His recipe was reportedly rejected over 1,000 times before a restaurant picked it up.

So remember, Failure is just a part of the journey. Don’t ever let it make you believe that you’re a failure.  Maybe you’re failing now, but that doesn’t mean you’ll keep failing.  Show us your resilience.  It’s up to you to bring the tenacity.  You have to bring the fire.  You have to figure out how to make it happen.  You have to get up.  And you can’t let failing along the way keep you down or turn you into a failure.

"People who have never failed , have never achieved something big in their lives"

YOU MUST READ THIS. THIS WILL OPEN YOUR EYES !!! Jack Ma: If you’re still poor at 35, you deserve it!

Jack Ma: If you’re still poor at 35, you deserve it!
You are poor because you have no ambition.
Jack Ma: Before I founded Alibaba (阿里巴巴), I invited 24 friends to my house to discuss the business opportunity. After discussing for a full two hours, they were still confused — I have to say that I may not have put myself across in a clear manner manner then. The verdict: 23 out of the 24 people in the room told me to drop the idea, for a multitude of reasons, such as: ‘you do not know anything about the internet, and more prominently, you do not have the start-up capital for this’ etc etc.
There was only one friend (who was working in a bank then) who told me, “If you want to do it, just try it. If things don’t work out the way you expected it to, you can always revert back to what you were doing before.” I pondered upon this for one night, and by the next morning, I decided I would do it anyway, even if all of the 24 people opposed the idea.
When I first started Alibaba, I was immediately met with strong opposition from family and friends. Looking back, I realised that the biggest driving force for me then was not my confidence in the Internet and the potential it held, but more of this: “No matter what one does, regardless of failure or success, the experience is a form of success in itself.” You have got to keep trying, and if it doesn’t work, you always can revert back to what you were doing before.
As with this quote by T.E. Lawrence – “All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream in the dark recesses of the night awake in the day to find all was vanity. But the dreamers of day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, and make it possible.”
Jack Ma: People lose out in life because of these 4 reasons:
Being myopic to opportunity
Looking down on opportunities
Lacking understanding
Failing to act quickly enough
You are poor, because you have no ambition.
Ambition is living a life of great ideals; a magnificent goal in life that must be realised.
In this world, there are things that are deemed unfathomable, but there is nothing in this world that cannot be done. The depth of one’s ambition determines the potential of one’ future.

SUCCESS STORIES @ 10 - 'BILL GATES' : From a Harvard Dropout and a failed business to World's richest man

STORY 2 : BILL GATES (Microsoft)

From a 3- year old kid to old,if there's one name that every single person knows about is BILL GATES. Bill Gates is the owner of Microsoft and been named as richest man on the planet several times. His jouney to riches has been extraordinary. Here's a look at his journey from failing several times to becoming a success.

Before launching Microsoft, Bill Gates was a Harvard University dropout and co-owner of a failed business called Traf-O-Data.

About His first Business : Traf-O-Data, a partnership between Gates, Allen, and Gilbert, needed a professional paper tape reader. Gates used $3,400 of his own money to purchase an Enviro-Labs Model GS-311 Paper Tape Reader. Traf-O-Data used the device to process the paper tapes generated by traffic counting boxes and produced some revenue. Eventually, the State of Washington offered free traffic processing services, ending this revenue. In May of 1979, Traf-O-Data sent letters to clients saying they were suspending business. Gates’ first business had failed.

But driven by his passion for computer programming, Gates built what would become the world's largest software company. Microsoft went public in 1986, and by the next year its rising share price made then-31-year-old Gates the world's youngest self-made billionaire. An investor in the initial public offering would have seen a return of 30,207 percent.

There’s definitely a stigma against failure — so much so that many people are held back by fear of it — but even Bill Gates’s first company was a failure. But he never got bogged down by it and kept on trying and ultimately became world's youngest billioniare and the richest man on Earth.

SUCCESS STORIES @ 10 : ARIANNA HUFFINGTON

We start a series of short stories of Entrepreneurs (Success Stories @ 10) who Overcame Failure and made it big.
At nights @ 10 , one success story will be published which will motivate and inspire you to not get bogged by the rejections or failure or fears you face, but go on and make yourself what you desire to become.

STORY  1 . Arianna Huffington
DID YOU KNOW : Arianna Huffington got rejected by 36 publishers.

It’s hard to believe that one of the most recognizable names in online publications was once rejected by three dozen major publishers. Huffington’s second book, which she tried to publish long before she created the now ubiquitously recognizable Huffington Post empire, was rejected 36 times before it was eventually accepted for publication.

Rather than recoiling and licking her wounds, Huffington seemed to gain courage and wisdom with each failure to take on even greater challenges. Those book rejections only reinforced her perseverance in future pursuits. Through her failed gubernatorial campaign, which raised almost $1 million online, “I learned about the power of the Internet.” Two years later, she and business partner Ken Lerer launched The Huffington Post.

Today, we all know The Huffington Post continues to dominate Internet media, having reached profitability and attracting traffic that’s reportedly five times greater than its new-media competitors.

Here's Arianna advice to the entrepreneurs :
“Think differently from other entrepreneurs by accepting failure and learning from it. “There are a lot of failures along the way,” Arianna said. “I always stress that. I have two daughters, one just graduated from college, the other a junior, whom I always talk to about my failures.” Entrepreneurs need to address the possibility of failure, she said, “because so often, I think, the difference between success and failure is perseverance and not giving up after one or two or three failures. Just keep connecting to that place where failure doesn’t matter,” Arianna said. “If we become so dependent on things always being a success, then we’re in a very vulnerable position — because we’re not in control of how the world is going to receive something.”

7 Really Simple Tips for writing SEO Optimized Content

If your content is not SEO optimized it may get lost somewhere without getting the right exposure. Listed below are seven tried and tested tips on writing SEO friendly content that will surely generate huge traffic.

1)  Provide Adequate Information
Give a brief description about your product and everything that the reader may wish to know. Provide all the necessary information related to your firm and not just focus on promoting the product.

2) Make it Appealing
Use simple language that the readers would be familiar with and always keep it compact and up to the point. Lengthy paragraphs and unwanted details may make the reader lose interest.

3) Use Unique Headlines
A headline that keeps the reader wanting to know more about the article and also good enough to tell what the article is all about. Create a body copy that is engaging and does not sound monotonous or like an advertisement trying to sell products.

4) Use Keyword Rich Phrases
Keywords are nothing but words that people are most likely to insert in the search engine slot while looking for a specific thing on the internet. The more you use keywords the more your content is likely to appear in the search results every time a search action has been performed for the related topics.

5) Incorporate Imagery and Videos
Only a mere description about your product may become a bit boring and may go unattended. But if you use related images for your content it may definitely seem more appealing and develop interest among the readers. Add links and videos wherever necessary. This creates a curiosity in the reader to know more and more about your product/service.

6) Implement Google Authorship

Google Authorship is a quick and easy way to tie content to a certain author, all you need is a Google+ account. As a result, your articles come up as rich snippets in the search results featuring the author's photo along with the article title. Google Authorship is great for personal promotion, but can also increase the click through rate to your articles.

7) Monitor your Activity
Monitor your efforts. Track your page views and the average time spent on a page. Check things like your bounce rate and time on site to get an idea of how users interact with your website after landing on your content. If you see a high drop off in addition to a low average time spent on the page, that's an indication that your content wasn't relevant to what they were looking for, or worse, wasn't interesting. Also, take a look at the number of social interactions (shares, likes, etc) to get an idea of the virality of your post. Just looking at these simple statistics can give you a good idea of which content pieces are well-received and liked, so that you can create that type of content for the audience.

Both content and SEO are important in order to generate traffic so it's important  to use quality techniques for more public engagement on your website.

MEETUP REVIEW : Startup Grind Delhi NCR Hosts Anshu Gupta 'India's Clothing Man' (Goonj)

StartupGrind Delhi today hosted Mr. Anshu Gupta (Goonj). Startup Grind is a global startup community designed to educate, inspire, and connect entrepreneurs, and is powered by Google for Entrepreneurs.

The event was held in IIT Delhi. The attendees had a great session and what can be termed as 'one of the most inspirational talks' held on Startup Grind Delhi till date.

In the event, Anshu shared his success story and talked about the struggles he faced in his journey to come this far. The mindset of rural people he had to change to make them a part of GOONJ. He also told how GOONJ has brought a change in the rural people's lives by providing them full time employment and a means of livelihood through clothing.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
((A little about Anshu & GOONJ))

((GOONJ was founded in 1999 , after Anshu left his a corporate job to start the organisation.
GOONJ started the 'Not Just a Piece of Cloth' (NJPC) campaign, after the 2004 tsunami, when its Chennai centre was flooded with old, donated clothes which were usable. These clothes were disinfected, washed, and recycled into pads which were then placed in cotton bags to make sanitary napkins called "My Pads". By 2014, 2.5 million pads were distributed at nominal cost of ₹2 (3.2¢ US) to the poor who could not afford commercial sanitary pads. The campaign subsequently won the World Bank's Global Development Marketplace Award (2009) and Changemaker's Innovation Award (2009), and was LAUNCH Innovation Challenge in 2012, in "Beyond Waste" theme, which is sponsored by NASA, Nike and US Agency for International Development.
Anshu has also been felicitated with the BEST SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR AWARD OF THE YEAR.))
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

His talk about that how India is actually still lagging behind in providing basic need 'cloth' to the majority  and especially about the embarassing stat that around 88-90% women in our country don't even have access to sanitary pads was startling and it inspires people to do something for the community especially poor. It makes us realise it is we who have be the wheels of change, we all and not just few have to work towards making India a better place.

He also advised the listeners about how to have a clear mindset in their life, how to go about things in starting a company, how & why one should give back to the community and how not to get bogged down after one faces failure or obstacles in one's path.

His inspirational words 'You don't want to die like a cockroach' forces one to think what he/she is actually doing with their lives and highly motivates one to do something and achieve something substantial in life.

There are a lot of insights and crucial points he talked about, which is very difficult to compile or express effectively in a single article, and that one could experience it live only.

In all, one has to salute Mr. Anshu Gupta's vision and efforts in what he has done for the lives of several rural people and playing his part in making INDIA A BETTER AND HEALTHIER PLACE.

Is Your Content Marketing Strategy Well planned to be executed ?

It is early 2015 & as per the marketing pundits - ‘content promotion’ is still going to be the major focus. But are you prepared together with your content plan for the year 2015? With every brand generating content on day to day basis, standing out is a challenge. This is where we have to take lots of inspiration from the creative industry, where the actual contents are produced - movies & TV series. They produce high quality content every year & manage to pull it off. In the event you listen to nice film directors about their methods, they would basically say that "the story was worth telling". Well, That’s the key

Give your brand a brand spanking new point of view. So what is that secret ingredient for content marketing?

You may understand your audience’s requirement, have content writers, designers and all the resources you require - even then you fail? The prime reason is the ‘Honesty’. While creating a content in the event if you are not honest about it, the audience will basically recognize it. A piece of nice and honest content is what everyone is looking for, as a brand it's your duty to provide that content. Do not be dillusioned by different techniques and methods, basically say what you need to with dignity. There is no way why audience would not read your story and connect. With honesty comes passion, both together can help your brand generate scalable content. This is why usergenerated contents are powerful because they are written with genuine feeling and passion.

The satisfaction of making a nice content itself will drive you & keep you going for a long. In content marketing, patience is very important. Not everyone is going to know about your content the minute you publish them, it takes time. Hence in case you keep producing authentic content & actively pursue platforms to promote them, you will finally find the place of adulation which you are looking for. Lots of brands cease due to disappointment & move on to different strategy - which is a bad practice.

"If You Can Dream IT, You Can Achieve IT"

“The richest place in the world is the Graveyard.... because in the graveyard we’ll find inventions that we were never ever exposed to. Ideas, dreams that never became a reality, hopes and aspirations that were never  acted upon.”
                                          - Les Brown

How often do you come across people who get up every day, get ready and go to jobs they don’t like, compromise with their passions and dreams to live a mediocre life and be satisfied? Do you want a life, spending your time to fulfill some other person’s dreams and giving up your own?

In the words of the Global Leadership Guru Robin Sharma: “The seduction of safety is often more dangerous than the perception of uncertainty,” it can be easily understood that you can very easily fail at doing something that you don’t like so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love. Follow your heart; it knows what’s best for you. Learn from the life of successful people, what’s common with all of them is that they had a vision, they had a dream.

But having a dream, an idea is a waste in the garbage until you take action; you take that chance and make that sacrifice that’s holding you back from living the life you’ve always wanted. Remember, the world that we live in was created by people no smarter than you! The only difference is that they dared to take the road less travelled, and on their way, they constructed a new path for others to follow.

Mahatma Gandhi, he dreamt of India’s freedom, he started alone but along his struggle was joined by hundreds and thousands of people who finally made his dream of an independent India come true. The world’s most celebrated footballer, Lionel Messi used to serve tea in a shop in order to support his football training just because his dream and love for the game was his motivation to go through all initial struggles. Likewise, Shah Rukh Khan (King Khan) just had a ten rupee note when he came to Mumbai with a dream of becoming an actor before he conquered the nation with his phenomenal talent. Your struggles constantly bring you closer and closer to achieving your dream than you can ever imagine.

The main problem with the society is that we want everything in output but are not ready to give even fifty percent as input or for other reason; we make excuses as to why our idea will fail or why we won’t be successful if we pursue our passion. One of the reasons is the lack of family support because our mindset is to be “secure”, have a job, a wife and two children. You fear that if you failed, you won’t be able to face your family; you won’t have a place to live in, etc etc. Failure is not a step backward, it’s a step forward in every sense of the word because when you fail at something you’re good at, it shakes you up alarming you to upgrade yourself and because you love your work, you’d equally love putting in all the hard work that is needed for improvement.

If people don’t understand you, that doesn’t mean you’re on the wrong path. Let me tell you something, if you are following your passion you are ultimately doing the best for the ones you love. Following your dream is not selfish, because if you keep practicing, keep focusing, keep giving your hundred percent into what you know best.... Guess what? You’ll be reaching heights you never imagined you would and the happiest people on the planet would be your parents, your family because hey, “You” made them proud.

So, all you aspiring entrepreneurs, actors, authors, dancers, artists who are stuck in a job that makes you sick and you end up quarreling with almost everybody you come across; take that step, let your talents not be wasted, leave no stone unturned and when you die, die on the “E”: Leave no dream unachieved, no desire unaccomplished because ,

“YES! IF YOU CAN DREAM IT YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT”

Importance Of Social Media in Consumer Insights

More & more companies are adding people with titles like "Manager Of consumer Insights" or "Data analytic specialist". However plenty of of these positions are nothing but a renaming of Market Research people & departments that still depend on elderly market research methodology to gain insights from consumers who, by the time the insights are analyzed & acted on, have moved on to competitors products. Consumer insights people must be able to things well identify key insights but more importantly be sure the organization acts on those insights with speed & quality without weeks & months of meetings & Power Points.
Social Networks & Weblog sites dominate Americans' Web time, accounting for 23% of time spent online, over two times the amount of time spent on the online games. To further put this in to context, time spent on other online categories combined, only accounts for 35% of Americans' total Web time. Although now much of the web access has been started & very reached to a bit comparable stage in Asian markets like China, India & Southeast Asia. In more time to come this would even surpass to all records.

Many of well known leaders of big consulting & FMCG firms of the world have been increasingly vocal in articulating a compelling vision for social media's role in marketing research..to cast the social media net wide beyond simple brand monitoring to derive deep, unexpected consumer insights about unmet needs & alternate makes use of for products.

Some of the main reasons for including #socialmedia in marketing research are that through this everything about the consumer could be known. Understanding track & respond to latest trends in real time, also customer satisfaction & product quality can be articulated & measured through social media research in the language of the customer. Although learning about consumers through traditional Marketing Research is expensive. It is feasible to derive deep, significant, real-time insights across numerous consumer segments and topics far more cost-effectively through social media research.
